MSC Cruises is a Swiss-based, global cruise company with headquarters in Geneva. It is the world’s largest privately-owned cruise company with a fleet of 12 cruise ships, and the fastest growing cruise line in the industry – growing 800 percent in capacity between 2004 and 2014.

MSC is known for its Mediterranean Style Cruising and having some of the most ultramodern ships at sea. Highlights of MSC’s state-of-the-art ships include world-class entertainment, authentic Mediterranean-style dining, stylish bars and lounges, and Balinese style massages designed exclusively for MSC guests. The line has significant plans for future expansion through a $5.4 billion investment plan which will double the current fleet capacity by 2022 and includes seven new ultramodern ships in two pioneering prototypes.

The first new build being built by STX France – named MSC Meraviglia – is set to debut in May 2017 in the Mediterranean with three major ports of embarkation: Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona. The first next-generation ship being built by Fincantieri – named MSC Seaside – is set to debut in December 2017 and will sail year-round from Miami to the Caribbean.
